Factory Return Shipping Instructions

In October 2002, Canada Customs implemented the ‘Administrative Penalty System’ (AMPS). As a result, goods being returned to Knudsen Engineering for repair service must follow strict shipping guidelines to avoid potential import charges. Please note that improper shipping procedures could lead to refusal of shipment and return of goods at shipper’s expense.

*Note: When returning equipment for service, please send advance email notification indicating system identification, serial #, and brief description of fault or service requirement to: support@knudseneng.com
Equipment must be returned to Knudsen in the original or an appropriate rugged equipment transit case with sufficient packing material to protect the shipment against any shipping damages. Equipment not properly packed for shipment will result in additional charges and repair costs.

STEP 1. Please contact KEL to discuss shipping procedures & documents including
appropriate commercial invoices, customs harmonized codes, equipment description, value, etc.
